Hot Air Balloon Rides ~ Connecticut CT

I would love to be able to fly in Greenwich or Stamford, CT.  Unfortunately, geography and the FAA make that quite unlikely.  You see, to make a balloon flight, you need open fields to land in.  Fairfield County CT is bordered to the South by the Long Island Sound and as you move inland, you find some of the most beautiful woods in the county.  This topography is just not very hospitable for hot air ballooning.  Also, because it's so close to the major airports, South Western Connecticut is under much of the controlled airspace set aside by the FAA (read - no balloons here!).  So, every year we fly with people from Cos Cob and Riverside, Darien and Norwalk.  I've had folks come in from Bridgeport too!  Danbury CT is just an hour away, you just take I-84 right over.  See our directions page for exact routing.

Our views of the Hudson Valley are well worth the trip from anywhere!  We've got rolling green hills and beautiful farms.  We fly over small towns, lakes and streams, and there is no shortage of deer or red tailed hawks!  What a great way to enjoy nature.  A balloon ride isn't something you'll do every weekend, do it right!  Give us a call today!
